Hi!

I'm quite new to Miami Vice and haven't ever seen the series as a whole, just some episodes now and then. In January I started watching through the series and now I've worked my way to the final season. As this has been an intensive and extremely enjoyable project, I'd like to conclude it correctly. Therefore I've started wondering the order of the last episodes.

According to the Episode Guide (and Wikipedia) there are four episodes after the series finale. On the other hand the last episode on the DVD is Freefall, with the four "after series final" episodes preceding it. I have seen the last episodes years ago on Finnish television (that time the last two episodes were Freefall and Too Much, Too Late, in this order), but I can't remember how well the last four episodes could fit after the series finale. I remember the definitive ending of Freefall, though, and that's why I'm asking you, fellow fans, for your opinion. So, in what order I should watch the latter part of the final season?

"Freefall" was shown in May to take advantage of the ratings sweeps month. After that "World of Trouble", "Miracle Man" and "Leap of Faith" were shown on Wednesday nights in June. "Too Much, Too Late" wasn't aired on NBC. The censors thought the subject matter (a mother selling her daughter for drugs) was too intense for network TV. The episode first aired in syndication on the USA network in 1990. The episodes on your season 5 DVD set are in the proper viewing order. Here they are in the proper order with their respective air dates.
